Where Care, Guidance and Tail Wags Come Together
Jame Dog Daycation is Adelaide’s premium outdoor dog daycare experience, created around what dogs genuinely need to feel comfortable, confident and fulfilled.
Our intention is to maintain a calm and balanced atmosphere where dogs can enjoy themselves without the pressure, chaos or overstimulation often associated with large daycare environments.
Dogs enjoy a full day in the countryside with room to run, sniff, explore, dig, splash, play and relax. Along the way, our Daycare Leaders guide them through everyday situations and help them practise good manners, thoughtful decision-making and appropriate social behaviour.
The structure of each day is shaped around the dogs attending. Dogs may begin in smaller, carefully matched groups before gradually coming together in our larger play area. On other days, the group may be comfortable enjoying the large play area together from earlier in the day.
There is no rigid, one-size-fits-all routine. Our team continually observes the dogs and adapts the environment, group structure and pace of the day to support calm, safe and positive experiences.

Daycare Done Differently — Calm Dogs, Happy Days
At Jame Dog Daycation, we create a calm, balanced outdoor environment where dogs can play, explore, build friendships and practise positive behaviours throughout their day.
With experienced carers, thoughtfully managed social groups and plenty of open space, dogs are guided to make good choices while enjoying everything they love about being a dog.

A Calm Environment Helps Dogs Thrive
While many dog daycares focus on keeping dogs constantly active, our goal is to create a calm and balanced environment where dogs can genuinely enjoy their day.
Dogs are given opportunities to run, play and explore, but they are also encouraged to slow down, listen, wait, think and make appropriate choices.

Genuine Human Connection
We know our dogs by name, personality and quirks. Strong relationships allow us to guide each dog in a way they understand and trust.

Guidance Throughout the Day
Our team actively guides the dogs through transitions, social situations and everyday routines, reinforcing positive choices as they happen.

Calm, Thoughtful Daycare
We intentionally create a calm atmosphere where dogs can enjoy themselves, think clearly and make better choices without becoming unnecessarily overwhelmed.

Manners in Everyday Moments
Waiting at gates, listening for names, sitting for treats and responding to recall are naturally practised throughout the day.

Carefully Managed Social Play
We support appropriate play and help dogs learn when to join in, when to slow down and when to give another dog space.

Tailored to the Group
Every group is different. We adapt the areas, group sizes, pace and structure of the day based on the personalities and needs of the dogs attending.
Daycare, But Smarter (and Way More Fun)
Our enrichment-based daycare isn’t just about keeping your dog busy — it’s about helping them thrive. Whether they love group play or need one-on-one care, we tailor each day to support their confidence, wellbeing and joy. All dogs, all welcome.

Outdoor Doggy Daycare
Our Outdoor Doggy Daycare isn’t your average dog minding service — it’s a full-day escape to the countryside with room to run, explore, sniff, dig, splash, and snooze under the sun.

Daycare AquaPlay (Add-On)
Got a water-loving pup already booked into daycare? Add an hour of supervised splash time with our AquaPlay add-on! Perfect for confident swimmers who love toys, zoomies, and making a splash — no floaties or paw-holding required.

Teddy loved the farm! The grassy, fenced puppy area was a perfect transition point to meet and play with the other pups and regular dogs. He came home happy and worn out!

Moby loved his first day on the farm. He got to do all his absolute favourite things. As a dog who loves his own space, he still was able to have fun without being overwhelmed.

Two weeks ago was our first visit at the farm. It was great. Marvel enjoyed it. He enjoyed all the activity that they had to offer over there. We will definitely go back.

Steve had a great first day at Jame Farm!
The bus pick up and drop off is super handy and while Steve doesn’t like crates he seemed to have slept for the drive.
The social media content was great for pupdates & he has come home very happy and tired!

Archie had his first day at Jame Dog Daycation and came home happy and exhausted. I have never seen my 4 month old pup so tired. I loved seeing all the updates throughout the day on their social media page, which reassured me that he was in good hands. The bus pickup and drop off was run extremely smoothly.
We both loved it so much we have already booked our next one!

Frequently Asked Questions
Each session is $90 per dog and includes pick-up and drop-off from one of our local Adelaide bus stops — all via our comfy, custom-built Dog Bus. Easy, breezy and all part of the experience!
Our days are built around full-day adventures, so we don’t offer half-day options. But rest assured — dogs get downtime too, especially after a busy morning of play. Puppies under 6 months even have their own quiet nap break to recharge those little legs.
We don’t offer direct drop-offs or pick-ups at our location, as our team is out and about with the dogs. Instead, we use convenient local bus stops across Adelaide to keep things running smoothly.
Nope! We believe dogs of all shapes and sizes can thrive together — with our team carefully grouping them by energy and play style to keep things safe and fun.
Yes — in most cases, dogs must be desexed by 6 months old under SA law, unless they’re a registered breeding/show dog or have a vet exemption. If that’s your pup, don’t worry — we’ve got a program that will suit them so they don’t miss out on all the fun while they’re still growing and developing.
We welcome fully vaccinated puppies from 15 weeks. It’s the perfect time to build confidence, social skills and positive habits.
Not quite old enough? Get in touch and we’ll help you plan ahead.
We don’t — and here’s why: every dog gets the same expert care, love and attention, no matter how many come from the same home.
Due to council rules, we can’t offer in-person tours — but you can get a great feel for our space through our Instagram and Facebook. And of course, we’re always happy to chat and answer your questions.
We’re based in Kanmantoo in the beautiful Adelaide Hills — about 35 minutes from the bottom of the freeway and close to Mount Barker and Nairne.
Our Dog Bus is fully fitted with comfy, custom-built crates. Each dog has their own bed and space to relax during the ride (aka the safest way to transport your most beloved furry family member).
No worries! Most of our dogs start out that way. We take things slow and gentle and most pups quickly learn to love their crate as part of the fun-day routine.
To attend daycare, all dogs need to be up to date with their C5 vaccination — or if you choose to Titre Test as an alternative to yearly vaccination, we also accept up to date Titre Test results.
Not every dog becomes BFFs — but we focus on helping dogs feel comfortable, confident and able to safely coexist. Many find their crew naturally over time.
If it’s 33°C or hotter, or there’s a catastrophic fire danger or wild weather, we’ll cancel the day for everyone’s safety. You’ll get a text from us if that happens. Otherwise, we’ve got big shaded shelters for those sunnier or rainy moments.
Dogs love to explore, sniff and roll — which means staying on top of flea, worm and heartworm protection is super important. It keeps them (and their friends) safe and healthy.
We ask all dogs to wear a basic flat collar — no harnesses or martingales, please! And since daycare can get a bit muddy and messy (in the best way), it’s a good idea to use an older collar just for their visits.
We don’t include meal breaks during the day. Vets recommend skipping breakfast on daycare days to reduce the risk of tummy issues, since dogs do lots of running and play. A bigger dinner at home works well. Don’t worry — we give plenty of treats throughout the day as part of training, engagement, and fun, so your dog won’t miss out!
Nope — we’re all about daytime enrichment and adventures. No overnight boarding just yet!
Outdoor fun means dirt, water, grass, and the occasional mystery prickle! Regular grooming keeps your pup comfy and their coat in great shape. After each visit, we recommend a quick check-over at home — think of it as a bonus cuddle session.
Fun, Friendship and Good Choices

A great daycare day is about more than coming home tired.
It is about giving dogs the opportunity to enjoy themselves, build confidence, practise good manners and experience positive relationships with both dogs and people.
With thoughtful guidance, carefully managed play and a calm outdoor environment, we help dogs get the most out of every Daycation.
