Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each session is $90 per dog and includes pick-up and drop-off from one of our local Adelaide bus stops — all via our comfy, custom-built Dog Bus. Easy, breezy and all part of the experience!

  • Our days are built around full-day adventures, so we don’t offer half-day options. But rest assured — dogs get downtime too, especially after a busy morning of play. Puppies under 6 months even have their own quiet nap break to recharge those little legs.

  • We don’t offer direct drop-offs or pick-ups at our location, as our team is out and about with the dogs. Instead, we use convenient local bus stops across Adelaide to keep things running smoothly.

  • Nope! We believe dogs of all shapes and sizes can thrive together — with our team carefully grouping them by energy and play style to keep things safe and fun.

  • Yes — in most cases, dogs must be desexed by 6 months old under SA law, unless they’re a registered breeding/show dog or have a vet exemption. If that’s your pup, don’t worry — we’ve got a program that will suit them so they don’t miss out on all the fun while they’re still growing and developing.

  • We welcome fully vaccinated puppies from 15 weeks. It’s the perfect time to build confidence, social skills and positive habits.

Not quite old enough? Get in touch and we’ll help you plan ahead.

  • We don’t — and here’s why: every dog gets the same expert care, love and attention, no matter how many come from the same home.

  • Due to council rules, we can’t offer in-person tours — but you can get a great feel for our space through our Instagram and Facebook. And of course, we’re always happy to chat and answer your questions.

  • We’re based in Kanmantoo in the beautiful Adelaide Hills — about 35 minutes from the bottom of the freeway and close to Mount Barker and Nairne.

  • Our Dog Bus is fully fitted with comfy, custom-built crates. Each dog has their own bed and space to relax during the ride (aka the safest way to transport your most beloved furry family member).

  • No worries! Most of our dogs start out that way. We take things slow and gentle and most pups quickly learn to love their crate as part of the fun-day routine.

  • To attend daycare, all dogs need to be up to date with their C5 vaccination — or if you choose to Titre Test as an alternative to yearly vaccination, we also accept up to date Titre Test results.

  • Not every dog becomes BFFs — but we focus on helping dogs feel comfortable, confident and able to safely coexist. Many find their crew naturally over time.

  • If it’s 33°C or hotter, or there’s a catastrophic fire danger or wild weather, we’ll cancel the day for everyone’s safety. You’ll get a text from us if that happens. Otherwise, we’ve got big shaded shelters for those sunnier or rainy moments.

  • Dogs love to explore, sniff and roll — which means staying on top of flea, worm and heartworm protection is super important. It keeps them (and their friends) safe and healthy.

  • We ask all dogs to wear a basic flat collar — no harnesses or martingales, please! And since daycare can get a bit muddy and messy (in the best way), it’s a good idea to use an older collar just for their visits.

  • We don’t include meal breaks during the day. Vets recommend skipping breakfast on daycare days to reduce the risk of tummy issues, since dogs do lots of running and play. A bigger dinner at home works well. Don’t worry — we give plenty of treats throughout the day as part of training, engagement, and fun, so your dog won’t miss out!

  • Nope — we’re all about daytime enrichment and adventures. No overnight boarding just yet!

  • Outdoor fun means dirt, water, grass, and the occasional mystery prickle! Regular grooming keeps your pup comfy and their coat in great shape. After each visit, we recommend a quick check-over at home — think of it as a bonus cuddle session.

Warning: Your Dog Might Love Us Too Much

We’re not your average daycare — and dogs know it. With enrichment, cuddles, expert care and plenty of fun, most pups can’t wait to hop on the Dog Bus. Ready to give your dog their new favourite day of the week?
